We haven’t been happy with our old printer as of late and were looking for a new one.
We found one with Shopify integration and figured, hey we can finally release that second run everyone’s been asking for.
Well the short version is that well, they aren’t as good at Quality Control as our other printer. So, we’ve put a halt on those until we felt comfortable enough to get them up to code. So, for those that bought the ReUps and the Sailor Ragowski variants, keep them if you want, but expect to get a normal sized and better QA’d comic from us here shortly.
All of the Sailor Ragowski Variants will be signed by me. Personally. The REUPs are already on their way out to you, except REUP issue 3, which we’ll be working on here in a day or two.
Again there’s nothing for you to do. We took care of it already.

Hey guys! Its been awhile! First things first!
A few months ago a fan of ours by the name of Curtis Oster passed away. He was one of our first fans and one of our biggest supporters…so needless to say we took it pretty hard. So I’ve been keeping my head down to learn enough about photoshop to make this:
You will be terribly missed.
Now for some updates!
1) I’ve been back off of orders since March and dove deep into working on the stuff that was broke while I was gone. So, for everyone that hung around and was patient, we have a variant that we will be releasing publically for issue 4. It will go live for about a week, and then we will close it down.
2) For those that have messaged me about getting Uncensored versions of Issues 1-3, we have a mini-compromise. We’ll be release a ‘second run’ / second print of the first 4 issues until we finish issue 7 which will be double sized. Once Issue 7 gets released, we then will be killing those.
3) We’ve dropped pricing on the Uncensored digital versions from $3.99, back down to $1.50. I think our point was made. There’s seriously NO need to pirate our stuff when we’re doing our best to get it to you as cheaply as possible. Is it bad business? Sure. But I’m willing to eat that in order for others to enjoy. There should never be a barrier to comics and anything more than a $3 price tag attached to a digital edition is kinda…well…pricey.
4)Work on Mister Lister Sister Fister has begun. Stay tuned for that. Its gonna be fun!
Alrighty everyone that’s it! Trent and I are also going to attempting to live stream more so follow us on our social media. Handles are below!
Second of all, as this year wraps up I’m preparing to go to school for 4-months or so depending on my level of success. So I most likely will not be updating as frequently as I would hope to. Which, if you’ve been following on Patreon you’ll know that I’ve only managed to get the back-end functionality for th P.O.G Tiers. So I’ll hopefully learn some new skill sets while I’m away. Meanwhile production on the book will continue, however it’ll just be a bit….harder…
Anyways if you haven’t been keeping up, I’m once again embattled in something stupid. The secondary market (ebay resells) I honestly didn’t have any problems or issues with, until they started selling Patreon covers there, and they shouldn’t have been. Also some twat posted the list of names that were receiving a certain variant. When requests to have the information removed fell on deaf ears, I did the one thing they didn’t expect; I tanked their market. I know a bunch of folks that disagree with this tactic, however the deal was: Covers will remain exclusive as long as they stay off of ebay. And I already see a number of “Patreon cover pre-orders.” Or some bullshit “investment copies for sell.” If you bought those, then you got scammed. While I don’t intend on printing any more than 500 copies of any one cover. Don’t think for a second I won’t actively undercut and tank the market value. Why? Principle. Also one of our rules upon joining up on Patreon was “don’t leak shit.” Which is an all encompassing statement meaning: Don’t fucking leak a goddamn thing.
Flip the retail version all day. We don’t care. But the Patreon stuff should’ve remained there. Or at least until the end of our run. That would’ve been the smart thing to do. Anyhoo. Kinda over being combative so moving forward any copy bought directly from me will have this extra page inserted:
For everyone that understands why I’m doing this, thanks again for your support. For those that don’t understand; the value of this book is NOT within how much money anyone can make from it. Its in the core moral of the story and I’d much rather put a book into the hands of someone who wants to read / collect. Than in the hands of someone who’s just looking to ride my coattails to make their next car payment.
Which kinda leads me into something I’ve been slowly realizing and the big reason why I’m probably gonna get out of the comics game. The face of comics is long overdue for an overhaul and the big two companies are failing at this. There’s a way to get your books out there, either through direct sales or with the help of a publisher. The cog that needs to be replaced is Diamond itself. I haven’t figured out a way to circumvent them, but if I do figure that out before we’re done…I’ll dump it here. There’s some things about the industry I simply refuse to accept, but like everything I won’t criticize something without at least bringing up an alternative. For instance, pirating. There’s 0 reason to pirate the work. I mean, its here on the website for free. And if you wanna buy it digitally, check us out on our store page we host both censored and uncensored there for digital sells.
Physical copies? Well retail, or Patreon (for now still looking for an alternative.) Can’t find it in stores? I will mail you whatever I have available at the time.
Anyway, I’ll see you guys in 4months. Wish me luck.
In preparation for our move, we are now offering a membership! This is just the basic membership option that helps keeps us going. This level is for those that just want to see us succeed! For just $1 a month you can help keep us going!
Alright, so if you haven’t heard, Patreon has banned Sargon of Akkad and people have been leaving the platform in droves. We plan on leaving too. So, the plan is to attempt to convert this site into a paid membership subscription service, which honestly is going to take some time for me to setup as the back-end plugins for the site has become a bite more…complicated to Navigate.
I had planned to jump over to Subscribe star but they too were shutdown.
So, in the interim I’ve set up a donation button in the top right corner for the time being if people don’t wish to give Patreon Money. I completely understand. You can also donate to us directly here:
Tim Pool best says it here we he did not shut his Patreon down overnight and I’m in the same boat. There’s also the issue of discord integration I’m still trying to figure out along with SSL and some other shit. Stay tune here as I work my best to transition away from Patreon and continue onwards towards issue 7
First off, I want to thank everyone who’s support this page via Patreon, you guys who’ve supported the retail version and this website! Luigi, Liz, Trent and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts! (Unless you’re a pirate but we’ll touch upon ALL that later)
So first things first. If you didn’t know, RAGS was never intended to be the commercial retail hit that it is. We always intended this to be a web comic with a small digital distribution as chapters were complete….but wow here we are on our 3rd Printing of issue 1 and a second printing of issue 2! Nut!
Issue 3 both Censored and Uncensored are now available for download via our shopify page. And as always, its available here as a try before you buy.
Speaking of buying, if you see any Patreon Exclusive copy of RAGS on Ebay, don’t buy that shit. Its a pump and dump scam. If you REALLY want those covers and don’t want to pay 5-800$ for a cover you missed out on, hit us up at: email@example.com and we’ll hook you up ourselves.
Anyhoo, if you missed out on it, we discussed our plans for the future and all of our lessons learned in the AAR below! Give it a listen!
And as always, thank you for your support! And if things go well, maybe we’ll stick around after issue 7.
